Sir Stan The Bogey Man is narrated through an elegant rhythmic structure that flows with great ease. The Illustrations are colorful and sophisticated. The narrative is nicely woven through the illustration. In a young children's book the visuals are as important as the words and this book achieves that masterfully.The story is brilliant with great educational undertones on behavior and consequences. The characters have depth of emotion often not achieved in a short tale.
There is an old school elegance, a fun wit while exploring what all children fear and converting the Bogey Man into an endearing friend.
I would recommend this book to every parent of young kids. I can also imagine that this book will achieve great success. A thumbs up to both author and Illustrator.

one sentence, who am I? Stacie
Morrell is an eccentrically entertaining neurotic bibliophile who
sells collectibles, tries to have patience with her precocious
daughter, fearlessly tries to do everything, and writes because she
is driven to as part of her genetic composition.
If
I could go back and do one thing over: I
would have figured out what I wanted from life way before now and
gone back to school to get it (much, much sooner than I did).
