Can you tell us a little bit about the characters in The Techno Mage?
The Techno Mage has a handful
of fun and interesting characters. Here are some of them:
Ikarim is the adopted son of
Doktor Gesselmeyer, and a mechanic for his airship repair shop. He’s calm and
collected, usually the voice of reason, and thinks situations through before
acting.
Arteus is the son of Doktor
Gesselmeyer, and a mechanic and Strong Arm for the airship repair shop. He’s
hot-headed and makes rash decisions, but is fiercely protective of his friends.
Magaliana is the alchemist for
the airship repair shop. She’s a noble who walked out on her life, frustrated
with her suitors, and eventually found herself in the care of Doktor
Gesselmeyer. She’s very curious, intelligent, and determined.
Captain Keenan is the sky
pirate responsible for selling Magaliana to the Techno Mage. He’s suave, a man
of his word (somewhat), and actually pretty polite.
General Darley works for Queen
Victoria’s Royal Guard, and rescues the trio on more than one occasion. He’s
serious, courageous, and commands respect.
Eliakim is Captain of a rogue
fleet on the trail of the Faugregir. He’s laid back, but also cares deeply for
his family.
Jocephus is the Techno Mage
and creator of the mythical airship the Faugregir. He’s an extremely private
man, and also very observant and patient.

shop pillaged and being separated when Magaliana, a noble, is sold
for a hefty bounty.
Once
in the hands of the Techno Mage, her world changes. He's a mythical
man with the ability to flawlessly combine both technology and
alchemy, and his mythical ship is a haven for Magaliana. There, she
discovers how to refine her craft.
Ikarim
and Arteus are determined to escape the sky pirates to save her, but
do they have what it takes before the Techno Mage initiates his grand
plan?
Raine
is Canadian, born and raised, and constantly moved in between Ontario
and Quebec with her military family. She moved to Michigan, USA, in
2004, where she currently still resides with her husband and
son.She
has always had a vivid imagination and loved reading and writing from
a very young age. She took courses in Children's Literature through
ICL in Illinois, and published her New Adult Steampunk debut in 2020.
She has participated in NaNoWriMo for over a decade and is currently
a Municipal Liaison for the Detroit region.
