I wrote the book For a Brighter Bipolar Life based on what I wish I had known from the very beginning after being diagnosed with Type One Bipolar Disorder. When I first found out that I had Bipolar, I tried to find out as much as I could about this type of mental illness—something I knew absolutely nothing about. I wrote this book in the way that my past self would have benefited from on this type of journey, especially since a lot of the things that I wanted to know or learned along the way, I couldn’t learn about anywhere else. This book is everything that I wanted to know back then, and everything you need to know now—a blueprint for living a happy life with Bipolar Disorder. Throughout these chapters, you will read about the thoughts and actions I found successful to get myself back on track and back together. This book isn’t only about facing Bipolar, but also about getting your life to be in the best shape that it can be in, despite having a mental illness. It will show you the steps you need to take to rebuild your life after your diagnosis. This book won’t give you your old life back, but will instead help you make a life that you are happy to be in now. This book is based on my opinion, formed throughout my recovery, and explores everything that I have learned along the way about getting stable and staying positive.
