     Break Through! How to Get Published.
Where do you meet publishers and agents? What are the dos and don'ts of approaching them? How do you select a publisher or agent? What do you send a publisher or an agent? Surprise them: include a marketing plan. Should you self-publish? Prudy has had 28 books published. Prudy Taylor Board is the author of 28 books including mysteries, horror novels, histories and a how-to. She's edited newspapers, newsletters and magazines. Prudy is also the author of 101 Tips on Writing and Selling your First Novel. In addition, she has taught creative writing for 20-plus years as well as lectured, appeared on panels and conducted writers' workshops throughout the United States and in Canada. Prudy is a freelance writer and editor of newsletters and manuscripts of all genres, both fiction nonfiction.

Open mike for the attendees of the workshops to read from their work in progress and get feedback from three multi-published author judges.  

The Judges are:
  • NY Times bestselling author Charles Todd   
  • Literary Agent Dianna Collier-Warner, owner Collier & Associates Literary Agency
  • Award-winning screenwriter, filmmaker, and author Alison McMahan
 $25 per person to read. Audience is free admission. Refreshments Served.
